EMODnet Biology provides free access to data on the temporal and spatial distribution of marine species and species traits from all European regional seas. EMODnet Biology recognises that everyone collecting data and information on the distribution of marine and brackish water species in Europe can make a valuable contribution to EMODnet. Citizen science initiatives have already provided useful data to EMODnet and more are encouraged to do so by following the simple instructions available here. These efforts will support EMODnet by adding the to the wealth of publicly available biodiversity data already available at www.emodnet.eu. |
